What is Crochet for a Cause?
I founded Crochet for a Cause in March 2023. I love crocheting, and after producing hats, beanies, blankets and even clothing, I realized I had all the pieces but no one to give them. Then one day I was in a supermarket with my mom when I spotted this little girl that was completely bald from chemo. At that point I knew what I needed to do.
I’m 14, in middle school, and enjoy golfing too. I taught myself how to crochet, and I challenge myself to always come up with something new and unique, so no two pieces are alike. I’m really excited with this project, and can’t wait to see how my beanies and hats will brighten up children’s lives around the country.

Where will the hats go?
All of the new hats made and/or collected will be donated to pediatric cancer treatments centers around the country.
Where does my donated money go?
All money collected will be used to buy supplies (yarn, needles, etc) and used to mail hats to institutions beyond our city limits.
